Harry E. Buchanan, 69, of Nebo, died in Illini hospital in Pittsfield at 7:30, Wednesday, July 20 1964.
Mr. Buchanan was born at Kampsville, June 5, 1897, a son of John W. and Lucinda Sands Buchanan.
He was married to Frieda Foster at Belleview Sept. 24, 1919.
He was a veteran of World War I, and a retired construction worker. He was a member of the Church of Christ and the American Legion Post at Nebo.
Funeral services were held in Church of Christ at Nebo Friday afternoon at 2 with Bro. Jesse Smith officiating. The Nebo American Legion Post conducted military services at the cemetery. Burial was in Nebo cemetery.
Surviving besides his widow are three sons, Gerald of Frankford, Mo., and Harold and John of Pleasant Hill; a daughter, Mrs. Marlin Martin of Pleasant Hill; 14 grand¬children, and a great-grandchild.
