Edward Pearl Depper, 65 years, 7 months, 21 days, died November 20. Funeral services were held at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home in Jerseyville, November 23.
The Grafton resident was born in Calhoun County, March 25, 1894, a son of the late Henry J. & Caroline (Volkert) Depper. Until his health failed he had followed the carpentry trade.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy Depper; 1 daughter, Mrs. Orville Hoelscher of Godfrey; 3 sons, Edward R. Depper of Fieldon, Richard Depper of Utica, Michigan, and James Depper of Red Bud; 3 sisters, Mrs. Max Zimmerman of Grafton, Mrs. George Grizzle of Jerseyville, and Mrs. Wilbur Williams of Rockbridge, 10 grandchildren and 5 g-grandchildren.
