John F. Depper, 64, died December 19. Funeral was held in Grafton, Rev. C. J. Struebing officiating. Burial was in Hartford cemetery.
He was born in Brussels, Calhoun County, on June 16, 1864, son of John F. & Lena Depper. He married Ophelia (Qualls) Depper May 24, 1897.
He leaves 3 sons, Fred A, of Machens, Missouri, and John W. and Edward M. of Grafton; 1 daughter, Mrs. Minnie Wise of Fidelity; 1 step son, John W. Schultz, 4 brothers, Henry of Dow, William and Martin of Golden Eagle, and Fred of West Frankfort, IL; and 4 grandchildren.
He had lived in Calhoun County until 1919 when he moved to Grafton.
