Mrs Winnie E. Ford, 92, of Nebo died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1981 in the Jacksonville Convalescent Center. She had been ill for about one month. Mrs Ford was a homemaker and seamstress and had formerly taught school in Calhoun county.
Born March 15, 1889 in north Calhoun county, she was a daughter of Timothy and Hortensa Swaders Johnson.
She married Clyde B. Ford in Pittsfield on July 4, 1913. He died Sept. 10, 1963.
Survivors include a son, Weybern Ford of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints at Pleasant Hill, of which Mrs Ford was a member. Burial was in Crescent Heights cemetery. Ward-Lummis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
