Former Calhoun County resident Claude Marshall, 89, died August 20 at Deaconess Manor Nursing Home in St. Louis. He was born March 20, 1898, in Calhoun County to the late Frank and Zella (Baxter) Marshall.
He married Sally Slaten on July 27, 1935, in St. Louis.
He was a dealer representative for Ford Motor Tractor Co.
Survivors include his wife, Sally, and daughter Betty Marshall, both of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Ida Randolph and Very La Marsh.
Visitation was August 21 at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home in Grafton; the funeral was August 22 there with the Rev. Tommy Brewer officiating. Burial was in Scenic Hill cemetery.
