PAGE. Mrs. Bertha Page, 55, widow of W. F. Page of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Alton, died Sunday at 4 am in general hospital, Kansas City following an illness of several months.
The body will be brought to the home of Mr. Page's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. William Boyd, in Godfrey, to remain until time of the funeral. Rites will be conducted at 3 pm Thursday in Evangelical church, Jerseyville. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery, Jerseyville.
Mrs. Page was a member of Eastern Star lodge and the burial ritual of the Lodge will be carried out at the church and at the grave. Friends may call at the Boyd residence after 4 pm Tuesday.
Mrs. Page was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Adolph Ufer, and Mrs. Ufer.
She was married in 1920 to Fred E. Page and following his death in 1935, she was married to W. F. Page, a brother of her former husband.
During her marriage to Fred Page, she and her husband operated a grocery store in Grafton.
Before moving to Kansas City she had resided in Alton.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother, are a sister, Mrs. Clara Walsh of Peoria, and two brothers, Arthur Ufer, Batchtown, Calhoun County, and Herman of Portland, Ore.
