Oscar Cleveland "Cleve" Plummer, retired carpenter of Grafton, died at twelve-five o'clock pm Monday at St. Anthony hospital in Alton where he had been a patient the past eight weeks. Visitation hours were held at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home where services were held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon.. Rev. Randy Morris of Grafton officiated and burial was in Hardin cemetery.
Mr. Plummer, a son of the late William and Sarah Ramsey Plummer, was born in Calhoun County. His age at the time of death was eighty-three years, eight months, and four days.
His survivors are one daughter, Ida M. Plummer of Alton; one son, Robert Ralph Plummer of Galveston, Texas, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
