WILSON. Died 02-10-1978.
Myrtle Wilson, 81, of Jerseyville, died October 2 at Jersey Community hospital where she had been a patient since September 19.
She was born in Mozier, Calhoun County on January 26, 1897, a daughter of Sidney & Amanda Rosa Ansell.
Surviving are her husband, W Otto Wilson; 1 daughter, Ruth Fonner, Jerseyville; 2 sons, Maurice Wilson, Brighton and William Wilson of Virginia, IL; 9 grandchildren; 4 g-grandchildren.
Visitation was from Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. The body was then taken to the Church of Christ on RT 267, with Bro Boyd Goodson officiating. Scripture and prayer service was conducted at Indian Creek Church south of Hamburg followed by burial in the church cemetery.
