Leslie Wineland, 81, retired farmer and former teacher in Calhoun County, died March 4, at Illinios Community hospital, Pittsdfield. Services were held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Burial was in Crescent Heights Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Leta Angelo (Armstrong) Wineland; 4 daughters, Mrs Winnie Tucker, Jerseyville, Mrs Geraldine rue, Delhi, Mrs Marian Roller, Godfrey and Mrs Carmine Waymack, Lancaster, CA; 2 stepsons, Neil Armstrong, Overland Park, KS and James Armstrong, Dallas TX; 1 step daughter, Mrs Joyce Bomke, Jacksonville; 2 bros, Norman of Hamburg and Ferdie of Camden, NJ; 4 sisters, Mrs Nola Baughman, Mrs Gladys Witjen and Mrs Faith Hastings, Pleasant Hill and Mrs Nellie Parks, St. Louis; 16 grandchildren; 28 g-grandchildren; and 2 g-g-grandchildren.
