Lena Biederman, 64, died at her home 6 1/2 miles west of Jerseyville.
She was born in Calhoun county May 11, 1854.
May 10, 1877 she married August Biedermann. They were parents of 8 children 4 sons & 4 daughters. Those living are Mrs. Henry Hand of Alton, Mrs. Fred Mowen near Kane, Otto of Fieldon, Henry, William and Miss Lucile, living at home. German Luthern church of Fieldon.
Leaves 1 brother 6 children, 10 grandchildren. Funeral from home with Rev. F. O. Wilson officiating. Burial in Armstrong cemetery.
Submitted by Bonnie Sutton Hayers who said: "I have the census records and marriage record of Lena Frank who married August Bidermann on 10 May 1877 in Calhoun County. Her parents were John Frank born about 1832 in Belgium and Sophine (Sophia) Daack born about 1830 in Hanover."
