Obituary - Harry Clendenny

PLEASANT HILL, Ill. - Services for Harry W. Clendenny, 75, of Omaha, Neb., a former Calhoun County resident who died Saturday (July 15, 1972) morning in his home, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Ward Funeral Chapel. The Rev. William Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Summit Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Clendenny was born in Mozier, Dec. 13, 1896, a son of Wesley and Alta Trowbridge Clendenny. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are four half brothers, Norvell Barnes of Hannibal, Marvin Barnes of Manhattan, Herman Barnes of Saverton, Mo., and Lee Barnes of Pleasant Hill, and two half sisters, Mrs. Chris (Gladys) Kuck and Mrs. Martin (Doris) Benz, both of Kampsville.
