Richard L. DeLong -- A native of Hamburg and a resident of Pittsfield, he died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Louisiana. He was 76 years old and a retired clock and antique repair owner.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda DeLong; three daughters, Karen DeLong Twohig and husband, Andrew, Penny Blanchard and husband, Larry and Margie Lazenby; two sons, Gregory DeLong and wife, Dorothy and Louis DeLong; a sister, Patricia Danzer and husband, Ron; a brother, James DeLong and wife Rebecca; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be a memorial service at the Pittsfield United Methodist church Nov. 28 with interment following in Hamburg IL
