Joseph Gerban, 89, of Springfield died at Calhoun comprehensive care, Hardin. Funeral rites were held at St. Francis church with Father R T Shea officiating. Interment was in St. Francis cemetery.
He was born June 21, 1883 in Lindberg, Poland, and was a general laborer. There are no survivors.
Jacoby Brothers funeral home in Jerseyville was in charge of arrangements.
