Jess Hubbard, 78, of Mozier, a retired farmer died Sunday night, Dec. 29, 1963 in Illini Community hospital in Pittsfield.
Mr. Hubbard was born May 30, 1885 at Belleview, a son of Edward and Lenora Knight Hubbard. He had lived in the Belleview community his entire life. He was never married.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Swearingin of Mozier and Mrs. Bertha Blackstun of Newburg, Mo.
Funeral services were held in Ward funeral chapel in Pleasant Hill, Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 1. 1964, with the Rev. Owen McNelly officiating. Burial was in Poor cemetery near Mozier.
