Obituary - Paul Plummer

PLUMMER. 30 January 1975

The funeral of Paul Plummer, 67, of R. R. 1 Grafton, formerly of Hartford, was conducted Wednesday afternoon, 29 January at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. William Bohannon of the Church of the Nazarene, Rosewood Heights officiating. His death occurred at 6:30 pm on 26 January at the Christian hospital, nw, St. Louis. Interment was in the Fieldon cemetery.

He was born 31 January 1907 in Calhoun County, a son of Joshua and Hattie Blackorby Plummer.

He was a color matcher at the Hartford Tannery.

His survivors are his widow, the former Alice Vinson; two Sons, Paul W. Plummer of Grafton and Norman D. of Clarksville, Tenn.; a daughter Mrs. Gene (Phyllis) Daughhette, Edwardsville; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Emuel Plummer of Grafton and Cecil Plummer of Jerseyville; and three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Stemmler of Fieldon, Mrs. Viola Stock of East Alton and Esther Belle Dabbs of Jerseyville; and his stepmother, Mrs. Melvin Plummer of Jerseyville.

The family designated the American Cancer Society as a memorial.
