PRESSLEY. 23 May 1974
Everett Leroy Pressley, 67, of 702 E. Prairie st, Jerseyville was found dead at 4:30 pm on 16 May at his clubhouse west of Otterville by Morris Dabbs.
A laborer, he was born 28 August 1906 in Calhoun County, a son of George and Clara McDonald Pressley.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Maltimore Pressley; two sons, Roy of Alexis and Gary, who is serving in the Navy at Kingsville, Tex., two daughters, Josephine and Marilyn Pressley of Jerseyville; one grandchild; stepsons, Earl Maltimore of Alton, Jim Snider and Kenneth Snider of Jerseyville, and a brother, George, of Jerseyville.
Final services were conducted Saturday, 18 May from Jacoby Funeral Home with the Rev. Vale Walkington officiating. Interment was in the Fieldon cemetery.
