RINGHAUSEN. Died 01-11-1984.
Edward L. Ringhausen, 96, formerly of Jerseyville, died at 2:15 pm November 1 at Americanna Health Care Center in Arlington Heights.
Born August 1, 1888 in Calhoun County, son of the late Christian & Christine (Schafer) Ringhausen, he retired from farming at the age of 60.
He was a 58 year member of the Grafton Masonic Lodge No. 341.
His survivors are 2 daughters, Elsie Beach of Jerseyville and Virginia Drenth of Arlington Heights; 4 grandchildren; 10 g-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Clarence Ringhausen of Jerseyville; 2 sisters, Elsie McBride of Hardin and Christine Rhoads of East Alton.
he Grafton Masonic Lodge conducted services Sunday evening at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Services were conducted Monday afternoon at First Presbyterian church with the Rev. Simon A. Simon officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove.
