Rose M. Thompson, 91, died at 10:20 pm Sunday, February 24, 1991, at Jersey Community hospital.
She was born in Calhoun County, daughter of the late Frank & Mary (Osterman) Schleeper and was a member of Jersey County Home Ext.
She and Ernest Thompson were married in 1926 in Hardin. He died in 1971.
Surviving are 1 son, Joseph Thompson of Jerseyville; 2 daughters, Virginia Ritter, Jerseyville and Helen Powers of Hardin; 14 grandchildren; 1 step grandson; and 11 g-grandchildren.
One granddaughter and 7 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5-9 pm at Jacoby-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jerseyville. A funeral mass is at 10 am Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic church in Jerseyville, where she was a member. Rev. Henry Schmidt is celebrant. Burial is in St. Norbert cemetery Hardin.
