Services for Fred Robert Todd Sr., 79, of 455 Barr Ave., Jerseyville will be conducted Tuesday at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville, by the Rev. James Pepper with burial in Oak Grove cemetery. He died at 11:20 pm July 9 at Jersey Community hospital.
He was born May 18, 1904 in Calhoun County, son of the late Jack & Margaret (Anderson) Todd and was a retired river barge worker, First Mate.
His survivors are his wife, Marie (Ballard) Todd whom he married August 14, 1971 in Jerseyville; 1 son, Fred Robert Todd Jr. of Clearwater, Florida; 2 grandchildren and 4 g-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Four brothers and 1 sister preceded him in death.
A memorial will be designated by the family at a later date. Visitation Monday from 4-9 pm at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
