Freeda F Whited, 78, of Jerseyville, died April 15, 1988 at Greenwood Manor.
She was born in Calhoun County to the late Thomas & Leeta (Ottwell) Gourley.
She married Roy Whited on October 10, 1928, in Edwardsville. He died November 25, 1984.
She was a member of Kemper Baptist Church, Medora.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Phyllis Berttell, Brighton and Evelyn Wordley, Godfrey; 1 son, Glenn Whited, Carrollton; 1 sister, Veeda George, White Hall; 3 bros, Chester Gourley, Carrollton and Lloyd and Leland Gourley, both of Winchester; 11 grandchildren; and 10 g-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sister Mary Norton and 2 brothers Arnold and Everrett Gourley.
Visitation and funeral were at Targhetta Funeral Home in Medora. Rev George F Humbert Jr officiated and burial was in Medora Cemetery.
