Orville R "Pete" Wilson Sr, 70, died at Jersey Community hospital.
The Calhoun native, son of the late Martin & Nell (Surgeon) Wilson, was a machinist at Owens-IL until retiring after 31 years of service.
He married Mary (Blackston) Wilson on June 24, 1931 in Jersey County and she survives.
Also surviving are 1 daughter, Joanne Hill, E Alton; 2 sons, Richard "Dick" Wilson and Russell "Russ" Wilson, both of Jerseyville; 5 grandchildren; 1 sister, Ellen Mitchell, Alton; and 3 bros, Vernon and Bill both of Jerseyville, and James of Hamburg.
Visitation and service were held at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Rev R E George officiate with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
